Cornerstone Assembly is now located at 3633 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA.
We have begun a new chapter as a church. We have added to our family, we have seen God move in our services together, and now we must press forward where God is leading in 2025.
Sometimes our prayers are answered very differently than expected and such was the case this year regarding our building program. We had faithfully been raising the funding for a new building and were expecting to break ground in summer but God had a different plan. In ways only He is capable of seeing and bringing about, Cornerstone and Calvary have been brought together as one church and one family. Building on the legacy of what God has done, we now move forward together believing God will use us to reach the lost, to help those in need, and to make disciples in the mighty name of Jesus.
Our campus on Peach Orchard road has just about 30,000 cars drive by every single day. What an opportunity to be a light in our community! I cannot wait to see what God will do this year and beyond.
It reminds me of how in the direct aftermath of hurricane Helene, God used our church to serve in capacities we had only ever dreamed about. He opened doors we never could and gave us the chance to love on people who were facing unimaginable challenges. What will he do next? I don’t know what all He will do but I can promise that we are going to never put a limit on what God wants to do, and we will follow Him wherever He leads.
